Frequently asked questions

Clear answers on space, pricing, installation, and support for your home simulator project.

How much space do I need at home for a FlexBay?

For a FlexBay golf simulator enclosure we recommend a room at least 4.2 m wide, 3.0 m high and 5.5 m deep. This provides enough space for the structure and allows both right- and left-handed players to swing comfortably from a central hitting position.

Before ordering, we recommend measuring your room with a laser measuring tool and taking a few test swings with a golf club to make sure you feel comfortable in the available space.

The FlexBay structure itself has outside dimensions of 403cm wide, 292cm high and 200cm deep.

If your room does not quite meet these dimensions, get in touch with us. We will be happy to advise you and explore a bespoke solution that works with your space.

What is included from 3.950 EUR?

Starting from €3,995, the Essential package includes the complete aluminium FlexBay structure with black side and ceiling panels.

It also includes a dual-layer impact screen with side and top trims, plus the mounting system needed for a precise fit within the FlexBay.

Higher-tier packages add simulator technology, including a high-spec PC, HD projector, touchscreen monitor and cable package, with a launch monitor included in the complete setup.

Do you design, supply, and install everything?

Yes. We design and manufacture the FlexBay structure, side and ceiling panels, and impact screen at our own production facility in Denmark.

FlexBay is designed for easy self-assembly, with a clear step-by-step video guide and a simple labelling system to guide you through the entire build.

Prefer to leave it to us? With installation teams across Europe and the UK, you can add professional installation for a complete, hassle-free setup.

Can I install a simulator in a garage or basement?

Absolutely. We have built more than +1000 golf simulators in garages and basements. Both can make excellent spaces for a golf simulator, provided there is sufficient ceiling height and room to swing comfortably.

For a FlexBay, the structure itself measures 403 cm wide, 292 cm high and 200 cm deep. For a comfortable setup, we recommend a minimum room size of 420 cm wide, 300 cm high and 550 cm deep, giving the player enough space to stand at a comfortable hitting distance and swing freely.

When planning your setup, it’s also important to consider access, power supply and whether the floor is level, as even a slight slope can affect the setup and playing experience.

Working with a tighter or unusually shaped space? Get in touch with us and we can help determine whether a standard FlexBay will work or if a bespoke solution would be a better fit.

Can I order a custom-size golf simulator?

Yes. We design, manufacture and install bespoke golf simulator solutions tailored to your space, requirements and ambitions – from the first design and room layout to installation, final calibration and handover.

You can learn more about our custom simulator solutions on custom solutions, or send us your room dimensions through our contact form. One of our sales designers will then get in touch to discuss the possibilities for your space.

How long does it take to assemble a FlexBay?

A minimum of two people is required to assemble the FlexBay structure. For a first-time installation, allow approximately 3–4 hours when following our step-by-step video guide.

Connecting the projector, PC, touchscreen and your chosen launch monitor will vary depending on the equipment, but around 5–6 hours in total is a realistic estimate for a complete simulator setup.

All components are shipped to you with tracking, so you can follow your delivery and plan your installation in advance.

How big is a full FlexBay shipment?

The FlexBay structure is delivered in three boxes, each measuring approximately 200 × 20 × 30 cm and a box of electronics. The boxes containing aluminium components weigh no more than 30 kg each.

The turf and hitting mat are delivered as a 200 cm roll weighing approximately 35 kg. Technology and other components are packed separately depending on your chosen setup.

The shipment is designed so that all components can be carried into your home by two people – no specialist lifting equipment is required.

What support do I get after my FlexBay is installed?

Your FlexBay comes with a guide covering basic maintenance and room care, so you have everything you need to keep your setup in great condition.

Regular wear items such as the impact screen, hitting mat and projector filter are designed to be easy to replace yourself when the time comes.

And if you need help, our Aftermarket & Support team is here for you. Whether you have a question, need a replacement part, want to upgrade your setup or add new equipment, you can always get in touch with us.

Warranties for technology and launch monitors are covered according to the individual manufacturer’s terms.
